I forgot to point out and the dumpSram and other dump* commands are in /usr/local/bin. Other commands to play with in /usr/local/bin:

vupfb f [p16 bitmap imagefilename] : Display bitmapfile.
vupfb p [progress value(%)] : Update progress bar.
vupfb m [message] : Update message string.
vupfb bp [value1(%)] [value2(%)] [time1(us)] [time2(us)] [count] : Brink progress bar.
vupfb bm [message1] [message2] [time1(us)] [time2(us)] [count] : Brink message string.
vupfb i [PAL/NTSC] : Initialize VGA

Already you could run a infinite loop script within a nohup session (backgrounds it) which routinely copies files off the p2 card and onto SD or via any other interface you find so that you never have to take out your P2 card to offload.
